MeGo Services

MeGo offers its services to Guests and Accommodation Providers.

 

·          “Guests” are those Users who avail one or more of “MeGo Guest Services”.

·          “Accommodation providers” (hereafter called Accommodation provider or Accommodation Providers) are defined as those Users who own an Accommodation or own the business of providing accommodation (by being travel agents or partners or proprietors in Accommodation business) and who are legally allowed to sell room inventory of an accommodation and/or related goods and services and choose the price & information related to such inventory, goods and services. Such accommodations can be provided at all kinds of accommodations including but not limited to Hotels, Paying Guest Houses, Bed and breakfasts, Guest Houses, Inns, Lodges, Houseboats, Machaans, Service Apartments etc for short term stay.

 

 

A.       MeGo Guest Services

 

MeGo offers the following “MeGo Guest Services”:

 

                                             i.            “Register now”: Add personal information such as contact details, email address etc as “Registration Data”

                                            ii.            Edit Profile: Facility to keep “Registration Data” up to date

                                           iii.            Booking: Service to select the accommodation, choose rooms and pay MeGo’s Guest booking fee and Accommodation provider’s advance tariff at the time of booking.

                                          iv.            MeGoPay: Payments for Bookings on the Site can be made through the online payment service provided called MeGoPay. At present MeGoPay supports Credit Card Payments through payment gateway provided by Axis Bank (a reputed Indian bank).

                                           v.            recommend a hotel: Service to suggest MeGo with an accommodation that Guest feels should be listed on MeGo

                                          vi.            travelbits: Service to write about a trip and upload snaps on the trip for others to see and read.

                                         vii.            city’s top 10: Service to read / write a travel guide to a destination

                                        viii.            Contests: to participate in contests such as writing the best travelbit or city guide

                                          ix.            Cancellation and refund service: Facility to cancel the accommodation service and estimate refund as per the cancellation policy and MeGo’s Service Fee Policy.

                                           x.            Transferring cancellation refunds received from Accommodation provider to Guest upon deducting Cancellation charges  as per the Service Fee policy

                                          xi.            Sending sms and e-mail upon Booking

B.       MeGo Accommodation Services

MeGo offers the following “MeGo Accommodation Services”:

 

                                             i.            “Listing Process” to access Direct to Hotel platform – To add information such as Accommodation contact details, ownership details, travel agent / associate details, email and mobile numbers of owner and staff, facilities, photographs of facilities, room types or room names, photos of room types, information on room, available inventory / number of rooms for different dates, price of Accommodation service to Guest for different dates, current occupancy, price and number of extra beds, minimum stay policy if any, cancellation policy, 

                                            ii.            Access for Direct to Hotel platform day to day Information Management: All accommodations that register through add a hotel process and then add remaining accommodation information using the Listing service are required to maintain all the information up-to-date using the username and password facility under “Accommodation Owners” link on the Site.

                                           iii.            Booking

                                          iv.            Payments using MeGoPay: For Bookings, MeGo will accept payments towards advance tariff of Accommodation provider and MeGo Guest Services from Guests using Credit card payments over the internet in to Jumpwire eServices Private Limited’s Current Account. Accordingly MeGo shall transfer appropriate funds from the Jumpwire eServices Private Limited’s Current Account to the Accommodation Providers’ bank account.

                                           v.            Sending sms and e-mail upon Booking

                                          vi.            Reflect changes to inventory upon Booking and cancellation: The Direct to Hotel platform reduces the inventory of room type upon every Booking and increases accordingly upon a cancellation

                                         vii.            Direct to Hotel platform Cancellation Service: MeGo calculates and informs the cancellation amount (by an sms/call/email) to be paid by Accommodation provider to MeGo or directly to the Guest as per Guest’s choice

                                        viii.            Sending email upon Cancellation

                                          ix.            Transferring cancellation refunds received from Accommodation provider to Guest upon deducting the MeGo service fee as per the Service Fee policy and any other fee applicable

                                           x.            Adding or changing information on behalf of the Accommodation provider upon an authorization and/or request sent using an email or Listing form signed by the Accommodation owner or staff belonging to the accommodation. In case of informing MeGo by sms / phone call / any other manner, Accommodation provider may be emailed by MeGo regarding the change requested to which the Accommodation provider will respond within 24 hours of receiving the email in case the changes made were not correct / not requested by the Accommodation provider. The Accommodation provider will change the password immediately upon the creation of a new User (when created by MeGo on behalf of the Accommodation Provider with the help of the Listing form)
